Here we are in Santa Barbara at our first Live Oak Festival. Great food and music combined with camping out in the back of the Suburban made for a fun-filled weekend. Between the lawn chair seating, the hippie crowd, and the jugglers it was quite the scene. Gil was accused of cutting in line for a Gyro (you know how she is with food) and I was accused of selling counterfeit drink tickets, but by the end of the weekend we had finally been initiated into the "Oakies" crew. I'm sure we will be welcomed back in 2010 especially after we so gracefully woke everyone up with the car alarm at 6:00 AM as I scurried to find the keys under piles of camping gear and clothes and Gil hid out under the sleeping bags.
